is an American artist. An actor, producer, writer & veteran, Matthew was born in Germany, and raised across the United States. After high school, he enlisted into the Air Force Security Forces, which included deployments to Iraq & Afghanistan, where he earned two Army Achievement Medals. Matthew then moved to NYC, graduated from the City College of NY (Theater) in '15 followed by a fellowship at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (Marketing) & an internship at The Daily Show w/ Trevor Noah.
On stage, he's played leading roles in SEXUAL PERVERSITY IN CHICAGO (Bernie), RACE (Jack), AWAKE AND SING! (Moe), HAIR: THE MUSICAL (Claude) and the title role in ANATOL. He has performed at 54 Below, Bay Street Theater, FIT, ATA, and across NYC. Matt recently played 'Doc Maddy' in WAR STORIES, written by Vinnie Lyman (2018 Arts in the Armed Forces Bridge Award Winner). Produced by Society of Artistic Veterans Nov '19.
Matthew paints with oil & acrylic on canvas. Showings include NY Art Gallery, Van Der Plas Gallery, Brooklyn Bazaar, 17 Frost, Legendary Republic, Park Ave Armory & Melrose Ballroom. A large print of "Quiet Night" was installed at 3333 Broadway. Clients include Steven Cohen (owner, NY Mets), the Dolan family (owner, NY Knicks) and collector David Cohen.
As Managing Director of the Dimo Kim Musical Theatre Factory, Matthew produced the Off Broadway musicals; Interview: A New Musical ('17), Green Card: A New Musical ('16) & Comfort Women: A New Musical ('15 &'18). He co-produced and co-starred in the horror comedy 'The Devil's Restaurant' by Hayride films, written by Eric Ford-Holevinski. In '17, Matt also co-produced 3 promotional video's with Tomahawk Pictures for the Amazon Studios film 'The Last Flag Flying.'
